Cooler inspections start in Clackamas County
You have a right to privacy - unless you're in Clackamas, Oregon
and in a park or near a river. Area bureaucrats there claim that
they've bestowed upon those with badges the "right" to search your
property. Their justification - you could be hiding booze.
Should we be surprised? Not really. After all, the folks wearing badges
already claim the "right" to steal from others in the area to protect
them. This latest incursion is just more of the same.
What if folks in the area were to demand to search the property of those wearing badges? How would that be received?
And for anyone who would argue that something is not lawful to do in the first place, then how can government make it legal then? Hmmm? I want to know your answer to that!!!
