The
most sinister tyranny is that of democracy, in which the common man
willingly forgoes his freedom for the opportunity to choose which master
to serve. And when the immensity of his mistake dawns, his cry of fowl
play is dismissed with the rebuttal: you voted for it. The day is fast
approaching where mankind as a whole will wake up and realise that he
cannot abdicate liability for his actions while expecting to remain
free.
