FEAR ITSELF

Americans are taught to be afraid of government, afraid of their public servants, afraid to ask where their authority comes from.
Why?
Government only has power that the people have delegated to it. Without our consent, government has no power, outside of securing rights.
How can we say "no!"?
The ballot only allows "yes".
If you can't say no, then there is no real consent... just sufferance.
So how do Americans exercise the power to grant or withdraw consent?
Ask the public servants. Unless you're too afraid to.
Or read the law. Unless you're too afraid to learn the truth.
